The identification of a new blood group system, Chromosomal Rare Indian Blood, CRIB, represents a significant advancement in the field of hematology. The official naming of CRIB (Cromer India Bengaluru) and its confirmation by the International Blood Group Reference Laboratory (IBGRL) in the UK.This paper details the discovery of the CRIB blood group in a 38-year-old woman Karnataka India, marking the first new blood group system identified in over 38 years.
